On October 24, 2024, Mr. Lester Naces Udang, representing the International Reputations & Connections Center (IRCC) of Shinawatra University, marked an inspiring visit to University of the Philippines Cebu. This milestone follows the recent MOU signing with the UP System, amplifying collaborative efforts to create impactful international academic opportunities and partnerships.

Mr. Lester’s first courtesy visit brought together visionary leaders, including Chancellor Atty. Leo Malagar, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Assoc. Prof. Palmy Tudtud, Asst. to the Chancellor Assoc. Prof. May Christina Bugash, and QA Officer & OIL Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Patricia Anne Nazareno. Together, they explored exciting ideas for a secondary college that would enable international and UP students to engage in enriched learning and cultural exchanges.

The initiative aims to foster a dynamic environment where students from diverse backgrounds can grow academically and culturally, positioning UP Cebu as a global hub of innovation and inclusivity.
