In a landmark collaboration bridging continents, Shinawatra University (SIU) hosted a delegation of esteemed professors and researchers from HKBK College of Engineering, India, for the inaugural “Faculty Abroad Programme 2024” on December 2nd, 2024. The day commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Sipnarong Kanchanawongpaisan, culminating in the signing of a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SIU, HKBK College of Engineering, and MIT Square. This landmark agreement, signed by Ms. Julie Jay, Manager of International Affairs Shinawatra University and the Principal of HKBK College of Engineering, solidifies a commitment to collaborative research, faculty exchange, and the advancement of knowledge on a global scale.
Recognizing the researchers’ invaluable contributions, Dr. A.K. Mahbubul Hye and Dr. Bijay Sigdel presented certificates of participation. The program concluded with expressions of gratitude from Dr. Hye and insightful closing remarks by Dr. Bijay, followed by a tour of SIU’s state-of-the-art campus.
