Sustainability Training Program

Annual Social Sustainability Training Program

Shinawatra University is committed to promoting a socially responsible academic and professional environment. As part of our institutional dedication to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and our continuous efforts to foster a more equitable and inclusive society, we implement an Annual Social Sustainability Training Program for both faculty and students.

This mandatory program is designed to strengthen our university community’s understanding of key social sustainability themes including:

  • Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)
  • Human rights, ethics, and anti-discrimination policies
  • Social justice and community impact
  • Well-being and mental health awareness
  • Accessible education and support for marginalized groups

  • Academic and professional staff members
  • Undergraduate and postgraduate students

Mode of Delivery

  • Online modules
  • In-person seminars and guest lectures
  • Interactive workshops and reflection sessions

Program Schedule

Held every academic year during the first semester, the training integrates seamlessly with both faculty onboarding and student orientation processes.

Certification and Impact

All participants receive a certificate of participation. The training contributes to professional development goals and supports the university’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy and QS Sustainability ranking benchmarks.
