A Leader in Sustainable Community Development Partners with Koh Kret Subdistrict Administrative Organization

On November 28, 2024, the School of Liberal Arts, Shinawatra University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kasemrat Wiwitkunkasem, Dean of the School, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Koh Kret Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Nonthaburi Province. This collaboration aims to promote cultural tourism and enhance the local economy, solidifying the School’s role as a leader in academic services driving sustainable development.

This project is part of the academic service program integrating teaching, research, and community development, in alignment with Shinawatra University’s strategic goals of fostering positive societal change at both local and national levels, as well as the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Key initiatives include the development of tourist attractions, online marketing, product packaging design, and digital media to elevate Koh Kret’s community competitiveness on a global scale.

The project is also funded by the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), reflecting the trust of institutional partners in the School’s potential and commitment to creating meaningful and sustainable impact in community development.
