Job Summary

Shinawatra University is seeking a skilled Chinese-Thai Translator to facilitate communication between Chinese-speaking and Thai-speaking faculty, staff, students. The translator will be responsible for translating written and spoken materials accurately while maintaining cultural sensitivity and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Translate academic documents, official university communications, and other materials from Chinese to Thai and vice versa.
Provide real-time interpretation for meetings, lectures, conferences, and university events.
Assist Chinese-speaking students and faculty in communicating with Thai university personnel.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness in translations.
Work closely with various departments to support administrative and academic activities.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Perform other language-related tasks as assigned by the university.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Chinese/Thai Language, or a related field.
Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and Thai (spoken and written). Proficiency in English is an advantage.
Experience: Prior experience in translation, interpretation, or a related role, preferably in an academic setting.
Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in translation.
Familiarity with academic terminology and university administrative procedures.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Proficiency in translation software/tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an educational or international environment.
Certification in professional translation or interpretation.

ลักษณะงาน

มหาวิทยาลัยชินวัตรกำลังมองหานักแปลภาษาจีน-ไทยที่มีความสามารถ เพื่อช่วยอำนวยความสะดวกในการสื่อสารระหว่างคณาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่ และนักศึกษาที่ใช้ภาษาจีนและภาษาไทย นักแปลจะต้องแปลเอกสารและบทสนทนาได้อย่างถูกต้อง พร้อมทั้งคำนึงถึงความแตกต่างทางวัฒนธรรมและมาตรฐานทางวิชาชีพ

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ:

แปลเอกสารทางวิชาการ จดหมายราชการ และเอกสารอื่น ๆ จากภาษาจีนเป็นภาษาไทย และจากภาษาไทยเป็นภาษาจีน
ให้บริการล่ามแปลภาษาแบบเรียลไทม์สำหรับการประชุม การบรรยาย สัมมนา และกิจกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัย
ช่วยนักศึกษาและคณาจารย์ที่ใช้ภาษาจีนในการสื่อสารกับบุคลากรของมหาวิทยาลัยที่ใช้ภาษาไทย
ตรวจสอบให้แน่ใจว่าการแปลมีความถูกต้อง สอดคล้อง และเหมาะสมทางวัฒนธรรม
ประสานงานกับแผนกต่าง ๆ เพื่อสนับสนุนงานด้านบริหารและวิชาการ
รักษาความลับและความเป็นมืออาชีพในการจัดการข้อมูลที่เป็นความลับ
ปฏิบัติงานอื่น ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับภาษา ตามที่ได้รับมอบหมายจากมหาวิทยาลัย

คุณสมบัติ:

การศึกษา: วุฒิปริญญาตรีในสาขาการแปล ภาษาศาสตร์ ภาษาไทย/ภาษาจีน หรือสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้อง
ความสามารถทางภาษา: มีความสามารถทางภาษาจีน (แมนดาริน) และภาษาไทยในระดับเจ้าของภาษา หรือใกล้เคียง (ทั้งการพูดและการเขียน) หากสามารถใช้ภาษาอังกฤษได้ จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
ประสบการณ์: มีประสบการณ์ด้านการแปล ล่าม หรืองานที่เกี่ยวข้องมาก่อน โดยเฉพาะในสถาบันการศึกษา จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
ทักษะ: มีทักษะด้านการสื่อสารทั้งการพูดและการเขียนที่ดีเยี่ยม
มีความละเอียดรอบคอบ และแม่นยำในการแปล
มีความรู้เกี่ยวกับคำศัพท์ทางวิชาการและกระบวนการบริหารมหาวิทยาลัย
สามารถทำงานได้ทั้งแบบอิสระและเป็นทีมในสภาพแวดล้อมที่มีความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม
หากมีความสามารถในการใช้ซอฟต์แวร์หรือเครื่องมือแปลภาษา จะได้รับการพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ

มีประสบการณ์ทำงานในสถาบันการศึกษาหรือองค์กรที่มีความเป็นสากล
มีใบรับรองหรือประกาศนียบัตรด้านการแปลหรือการล่าม
