Through a combination of icebreakers, problem-solving challenges, and interactive workshops, the team members strengthened their communication and collaboration skills.
  • QS Ranking Strategy: Expert sessions and group discussions delved into the intricacies of the QS World University Ranking methodology. The team analyzed the university’s current standing, identified areas for improvement, and developed a strategic roadmap to enhance its global standing. Key areas of focus included:
  • Academic Reputation: Strategies to enhance the university’s international academic reputation through research collaborations, faculty exchanges, and publications in high-impact journals.
  • Employer Reputation: Building stronger ties with industry partners to improve graduate employability and enhance the university’s reputation among employers worldwide.
  • Citations per Faculty: Increasing research output and its impact by encouraging faculty to publish in highly-cited journals.
  • International Faculty Ratio: Attracting and retaining top international faculty members to enrich the academic environment.
  • International Student Ratio: Increasing the number of international students enrolled at the university.


The serene setting of Saksiam Lakeside Resort provided a conducive environment for focused discussions and collaborative brainstorming. The retreat concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and a shared commitment to elevating Shinawatra University’s position in the global higher education landscape.
