SIU Educational Development Plan (2024-2028)

The Shinawatra University 5-Year Educational Development Plan (2024-2028) articulates the institution’s strategic direction for academic and institutional advancement over the specified quinquennium. This document, formally approved by the Shinawatra University Council on June 26, 2024, serves as a guiding framework for faculties and departments in alignment with national educational mandates and standards for higher education.

The plan delineates six key strategic objectives designed to enhance the university’s efficacy and impact. These include the modernization of pedagogical approaches and learning environments, the acceleration of academic and research productivity, the provision of impactful community engagement initiatives, the promotion and preservation of arts and culture, the strategic enhancement of the university’s institutional identity and global standing, and the development of efficient and sustainable administrative and management systems.

This comprehensive plan provides a structured approach to fostering continuous improvement across all facets of the university, with a focus on delivering high-quality education, contributing meaningfully to societal development, and establishing Shinawatra University as a recognized leader in the regional and international academic landscape.

Risk Management Plan

This document outlines Shinawatra University’s approach to institutional governance, strategic planning, and risk management. It details the processes for developing and implementing strategic plans, monitoring financial performance, supporting faculty development, and ensuring internal quality. The document also touches upon the university’s performance results and its commitment to continuous improvement through various quality assurance mechanisms.

Research Independence Policy

Invesment Policy

The Shinawatra Sustainable Investment Policy ensures responsible and ethical investment of university assets by integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. It uses negative screens (excluding controversial businesses) and positive screens (prioritizing responsible businesses), aligning investments with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Thailand’s climate targets.

EDI Policy

Shinawatra University’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Policy promotes diversity and inclusion across all facets of the institution. It aims to create an environment where all individuals feel valued and respected, emphasizing a system-wide, continuous, and well-resourced approach. The policy highlights “Social Responsibility and Humanitarianism” as a core value, integrating EDI principles into all university work.

Disabled Student Policy

Shinawatra University’s Disabled Student Policy ensures an inclusive and equitable educational experience for students with disabilities. Objective 4: Adopt Green Building Standards for All Future Constructions

Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy
