February 8, 2024 – Shinawatra University held a grand Chinese New Year celebration at its City Campus on February 8th, marking the arrival of the Lunar New Year. The event received significant support from Vice President Peng Lan of Hope Education Group, who traveled from China to deliver a heartfelt speech and connect with Shinawatra University.

Vice President Peng Lan emphasized the importance of promoting Chinese traditional culture overseas and expressed hopes that the Chinese New Year celebration at Thammasat would further enhance cultural understanding and friendship between China and Thailand.

Professor Zhou Fei, the President of Shinawatra University, extended warm wishes to the faculty and students in his speech, encouraging everyone to continue their academic endeavors and pursue personal dreams throughout the new year.

Various university leaders delivered speeches during the event, encouraging active participation in campus activities and fostering the inheritance and promotion of Chinese traditional culture, contributing to the mutual understanding between China and Thailand.

The enthusiastic response from Chinese international students added to the vibrancy of the occasion. They expressed gratitude for the university’s efforts in organizing such events, stating that participation not only brought a sense of home but also strengthened friendships with Thai peers, broadening their international perspectives.
