Shinawatra University(SIU), led by President Assoc. Prof. Zhuo Fei, and Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union (SLC-SFLU) in the Philippines, led by College President Rev. Fr. Roderick G. Villamar, CICM PhD, have formed a groundbreaking partnership to enhance international academic cooperation. The agreement, formalized last December 11, 2024, will implement Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) across various departments at both institutions.
This initiative, spearheaded by Dr. Leo Esteene L. Galap of SLC-SFLU under “The GLoBE Project,” was facilitated by Ms. Julie Jay Macariola, Manager of International Affairs at SIU. Key SIU representatives attended the signing ceremony, including Dr. Pratikshya Bandhari, Director of International Affairs; Dr. Sujin Buditsuwan, Dean, Faculty of Psychology; and Dr. Sipnarong Kanchanawongpaisan, Deputy Director of The Institute of Multidisciplinary Postdoctoral Research and Franchise Program.
This partnership will connect students and faculty across borders, fostering dynamic learning experiences and enriching their understanding of global perspectives.
