On March 7, 2025, Shinawatra University welcomed Professor Dr. Kudrat-E-Khuda (Babu) from Daffodil International University (Dhaka, Bangladesh), Head of the Department of Law, during a ceremonial visit to strengthen international research collaboration. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratthaburut Kumsap, Vice President of Shinawatra University, presided over the event and formally tasked Dr. Sipnarong Kanchanawongpaisan, Deputy Director of the Institute of Multidisciplinary Postdoctoral Research and Franchise Program, with hosting the proceedings. The occasion was attended by, Dr. Pratikshya Bhandari, Director of International Affairs; Dr. Doris Ogueri, Head of Research Fellow Coordination; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Pradit Songsaengyos, Director of Research and Innovation.

This visit marks the foundation of a strategic partnership to strengthen institutional ties through joint research projects, cross-border training workshops, and symposia aimed at accelerating knowledge sharing. The collaboration will empower researchers from both universities to co-develop publications and leverage technology-driven methodologies. Joint efforts will also focus on designing curricula to address pressing global challenges, such as sustainable policy frameworks and ethical innovation.
