Office of Ethics and Compliance

Shinawatra University’s Ethical Values Policy affirms the institution’s commitment to upholding a culture of integrity, fairness, respect, and transparency across all its academic, research, and administrative functions. The policy promotes ethical behavior among students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders by fostering accountability, non-discrimination, and responsible conduct. It outlines expectations for professional and academic integrity, encourages inclusive dialogue, and ensures that all actions align with the university’s mission of socially responsible and ethical education.

The Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC)’s mission is to assist Shinawatra University, recognized as an international center of scholarship, teaching, and research, in carrying out its academic mission with integrity. The OEC ensures that university activities are conducted in compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

The OEC Office reports to Vice president. The OEC team (hr@siu.ac.th) is comprised of:

  • HR Manager – Chief ethics and compliance officer
  • Senior HR officer – Chief legal officer
  • Director of Academic Affairs – Advisor
  • Director of Student Affairs – Advisor
  • IT Administrator – Information Security officer
  • HR officer – Secretary
